HELLO, I'm Andecavi but I go by Cav or Ludovic. I draw fantasy/horror monsters as well as cute critters and anthros. Scroll down for commission information!
Payment is done through Kofi, Venmo, Cashapp or Throne and is expected in full after I send you an initial sketch, and after I receive payment I will continue progress.I don't use PayPal transactions for payment with anyone other than close friends because I don't want my real name shown.Throne is a website that allows you to add items from Amazon or verified shops to a wishlist that people can buy you things off of anonymously. The transaction and shipping are managed by Throne, so your address and personal info aren't shown to anyone. The buyer picks and pays for an item, Throne takes the money, and orders it from the site and ships it to the address you provide when making your account.
I accept Throne gifts as payment for commissions with pricing equal to or slightly more than the price of the item.
For example, if an item is $25, I will do a bust that is normally priced at $30 for it. You can pick multiple items that add up to around the price of the art you want, like two $15 items for a $30 commission.
You may NOT:
-Use my artwork for AI in any manner (chat bots, image editing, training, etc)
-Crop or edit out my watermark
-Claim my artwork as made by you
-Trace my artwork
-Use my artwork for commercial products to be mass produced and sold (however if you would like to commission me for something like that, DM me and we can work that out, I do have experience with making art for printing and commercial use)
-Do not publicly post the image versions labeled for private useYou may:
-Repost the public usage version of the commission, doesn't matter if you credit me or not because my name will always be visible on the watermark
-Use the work you commissioned as reference for other commissions
-Make minor edits (hue shifts, filters, background images, small markings, etc)
-Make prints for personal use, let me know beforehand so I can make a printer-friendly version
-Use as your profile picture/banner, etc.
-If the art is shaded you may request a flat colored version
-Request a timelapse
-Request small changes at no additional fee
-Request something experimental that isn't listed on my price sheet, or ask for a different style if it's one I've drawn in and posted before (chibi, simplified, flat color, etc.). Pricing may varyBy commissioning me you give me, the artist, permission to post the commissioned work on my social media and portfolio, with you credited as the commissioner.I have a right to decline or cancel and refund a commission (partially or in full depending on progress) for whatever reason. This usually doesn't happen unless someone is being unreasonable, rude, or inappropriate.
In some rare instances if I am unable to finish a project due to personal issues I will notify you, refund it in full and send you whatever progress was made.By commissioning me, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
Will draw:
Ferals, anthros, humanoids (aliens, monsters, robots), mecha, horror/gore, artistic nonsexual nudity or "barbie doll" nudity, slightly suggestive content, fandom ocs or fanart, SFW fetishes for an extra fee. Fetishes and suggestive content will not be publicly posted or advertised on my account. Will not draw: Political content, religion, porn, immoral, NSFW or illegal fetishes. Suggestive content with minors, ferals, or adult characters that look like children. Human faces (idk how). I will not make major edits after the stage of the process is already finished, eg. if I've started the lineart I will not go back and change the pose or outfit, or if coloring is done I will not overhaul the markings.
First, you send me any references that will be necessary for the character. This includes your character reference(s), poses and expressions, clothing, accessories, anything you want me to add, and any information about the character that you think will help me visualize them.I'll start a sketch based on what you asked for, and I will send you that sketch with a watermark.
After payment, I will communicate with you and send you progress updates at each stage for you to request any changes, and then proceed after your approval. When it's done, you will receive a Dropbox link with all of the images, and the artwork comes in multiple versions for private and public posting; a noise filter and large watermarked version for publicly posting (to prevent AI usage and editing or thieves), and one with no filter and a small watermark with additional transparent background for private use. You can also request a timelapse.I can provide different image sizes/resolutions or file types if needed, but I will not share .PSD files of my artwork. With reference sheet commissions, I will send you the full ref and the images separately in case you want to arrange them differently or use them separately. Please don't publicly post the ones labeled "private use," I do this because my art has been reposted and used without consent or credit from me or the client in the past, sometimes by popular YouTubers.Turnaround time is typically within 3 days if everything goes smoothly, ideally same-day. Good references and a client who knows exactly what they want make it easy for me to work without stopping to ask questions about the design and wait for a response with timezone issues.
Some kind of image reference is required - other commissioned art, your art, base fills, sculptures/models, photo edits, outfit photos/collages, or any of the aforementioned accompanied by a written description. Not an acceptable reference: AI generated pictures, other people's artwork/oc (without their permission), a written description and nothing else.I included this section because in the past, I had too many people just providing confusing written descriptions with blurry jpegs of accessories and expecting me to design something out of that, which would be a custom character design commission. That would cost more money than what they initially ordered, but they aren't aware of that at first and it isn't fair to jumpscare them with a fee they weren't expecting because it wasn't on my price list.
Prices are in USD.Base pricing (flat color)Headshot - Halfbody - Fullbody
Chibi (full body only) - $10
Toony - $5 - $10 - $20
Semi realistic - $10 - $20 - $30+$10 for simple shading

+$15 fee for complex designs (intricate patterns that must be exact, detailed outfits, complex mecha parts, detailed scale patterns, more than 6 limbs, etc)Solid color or transparent background by default, but I can add a photo background or simple textures/patterns/gradients free of charge. You may also put your own background using the transparent artwork.Design may be simplified to fit chibi art style.Art style may vary from the examples slightly as it changes over time, but quality will remain the same.
